This course is a 3.5-hour, half-day look at the following subjects for the L/C applicant;
The mechanism of the L/C (Documentary Credit) – who does what and why?
Correctly creating the application for the Credit.
Understanding the Bank’s Vocabulary and Credit ‘Rules’.
Compliance, discrepancies and the limitations of amendments.
This short course assumes one coffee break of 15-minutes’ duration, and provides an excellent forum for ‘questions and answers’ where the basic material may be expanded to cover ‘live’ issues.
This course is for everyone involved in Imports and/or Accounts. It is relevant regardless of whether their outlook is as the Importer directly or as a Service Provider to the Importer.
The course fees include a single master electronic copy of the presentation material, a single hard-copy of the 5th Edition of Trading Words & Phrases plus one copy of both the official text of the Uniform Customs & Practices for Documentary Credits (the UCP 600) and the International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP E745). for the company to distribute accordingly.
